If you ever screamed Taking Back Sunday lyrics in your bedroom like it was a personality trait, this tour announcement just did something to you.
They are heading out for Summer 2026 and bringing Bayside with them, which feels less like special guests and more like emotional damage in stereo.
The tour kicks off May 31 in Dewey Beach, DE and runs through June 21 in Madison, WI, hitting Pittsburgh, Virginia Beach, Jacksonville, Columbus, Cleveland, Royal Oak, St. Louis, Prior Lake and more along the way. It is giving East Coast trauma tour with a Midwest detour and I mean that lovingly.
Taking Back Sunday is not just a band you casually throw on. They are the band you processed feelings to. The band that made you feel dramatic in a way that felt justified. The band that still hits just as hard blasting through your car speakers in 2026 as it did through cheap headphones in 2006.
Summer shows with this lineup are going to be sweaty, loud, cathartic and slightly chaotic, exactly how it should be. This is not one of those nostalgia act tours either. If you have seen them live recently, you already know the energy is still there. The crowd still screams every word. The bridge still feels like a group therapy session.
Sad kids grew up. We have bills now. Responsibilities. Lower back pain. But we still know every single word. And something about a Taking Back Sunday summer just makes sense.
